High-voltage Insulators

Pin Insulators: These are used to support overhead power lines. They have a pin-shaped base that is fixed to the transmission tower, and the conductor is attached to the top of the insulator.

Suspension Insulators: These are used to support heavy conductors, especially in high-voltage transmission lines. They consist of multiple porcelain discs connected in series, providing high insulation strength.

Post Insulators: These are used to support and insulate electrical equipment such as transformers and circuit breakers.

Strain Insulators: These are used to support the weight of conductors at points of tension, such as at the ends of spans or at the corners of transmission lines.
